After consulting with members of the SLCPD Homicide Squad, The Executive Board of the SLPA is pleased to announce we have hired criminal defense attorney Rebecca Hyde of Skordas, Caston, and Hyde law offices. Rebecca is a well respected career defense attorney who has a very excellent reputation in the Salt Lake Valley.

Rebecca will be our members' primary attorney whenever the Officer Involved Shooting protocall is activated, which includes shootings, traffic accidents with possible death, and in custody deaths. She is not replacing David Williams, but will work with him to add yet another layer of protection for our membership during the aftermath of a deadly force incident.
